MORE TROUBLES FOR ADRIANO

Internazionale striker Adriano picked up a right knee-ligament injury on Sunday and is now doubtful for the Champions League first-leg quarter-final against AC Milan on April 6.

Adriano had to be substituted shortly before half-time in the 3-2 victory against Fiorentina, a result that allowed the Nerazzurri to remain third in Serie A.

The 22-year-old Brazilian will undergo further tests on Monday to determine when he will be available to return to action.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini, however, hasn't given up on his star player.

"I hope that Adriano will be available for the first-leg Champions League encounter against AC Milan," said Mancini.

Adriano only recently returned to form after struggling with a muscle injury earlier this year.

His hat-trick last week against FC Porto secured Inter a place in the last eight of Europe's elite competition.
