    Default Reggina - Milan

Hey guys, the game will be played on Sunday, 15.00!

I hope we'll see some rarely used players like Ambrosini and Rui, but we should not risk to lose.

    Here's the preview from Channel4:

Reggina are just one point above the dreaded drop zone and they will entertain the newly crowned champions Milan. Although on paper the Rossoneri will be massive favourites, the away side may now have taken their foot off the accelerator with Lo Scudetto already won.

Giancarlo Camolese’s side recorded a very credible 1-1 draw at Lazio last week when star man Francesco Cozza netted a crucial penalty. If they can replicate that kind of performance then there is no reason why they shouldn’t grab at least a point against Milan.

Coach Carlo Ancelotti may decide to use a few of the under-used players in the last two games after a long hard season. Massimo Ambrosini should be given the chance to start in a bid to convince Italy boss Giovanni Trapattoni of his form ahead of Euro 2004.

Manuel Rui Costa may also be handed a rare start after he has spent most of this season on the bench after the consecration of Brazilian summer signing Kaka. Billy Costacurta should also start at left-back with Giuseppe Pancaro, and striker Pippo Inzaghi, still injured.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reggina (probable): Belardi; Jiranek, Sottil, Torrisi; Mesto, Tedesco, Mozart, Falsini; Cozza; Di Michele, Stellone

Milan (probable): Dida; Cafu, Nesta, Maldini, Costacurta; Ambrosini, Pirlo, Seedorf; Rui Costa, Kaka; Shevchenko

I totally agree with this formation!

    I predict a 2-1 win!

    Your thoughts?

Sheva must score if he wants to finish this season as Serie A top scorer! Also, it's good to gain as much points as possible so it'd be hard to break our record!

    If I was Carlo

Most of the players how played against Roma and most of the season will be on the sideline.

For sure I will rest Dida and Abbiati will take his place

And for Defenders Simic, Laursen and KK must play I really missed them and for the 4rt Defender Costacurta or Nesta

And in the Mid Abate (i only sow him once this season in a CL game against Celta Vigo and he was ok) or Brocchi(but he have a problem with injure he always get injured with out playing I really don’t get it), Redondo, Ambrosini and Serginho

In Forward Borriello and Tommson or (Sheva) but I think its better to play with one Forward and Rui playz as MidForward

But I’m not Carlo so lets se who will play

Akin to Ahmad, I`d be looking to rest the majority of the first team regulars, with the exception of Sheva for obvious reasons. Euro 2004 is rapidly approaching and come its finale, several of our players will have been on duty for the better part of a year which has `burnout` written all over it, so whenever the opportunity to afford them a rest arises, we should take it.

I`d opt for Ahmad`s line-up with Billy getting the nod in the centre and Rui behind JDT and Sheva.

GATTUSO: 'We are still hungry for points'

MILAN - The talk in 'Tuttosport' is of Rino Gattuso who said on his site: 'It is difficult to say what Milan side we will see at the 'Granillo' stadium. Of course, we are still hungry for points, we want that this championship will be remembered for the over 80 points of the champions, and now we are on 79. Moreover, we will face a team who are desperate to make a result to avoid relagation. Of course, in Reggio Calabria, the atmosphere will be very hot, and not only for the climate. One thing is certain: we are not content yet. We will play our game.'

KAKA: 'A special game in Reggio on Sunday'

MILANELLO - Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite has been the star of the day in the club's press room. The Brazilian starlet has been immediately asked by the Milan Chennel about the upcoming trip to Reggina. He said: 'It would be wonderful for us to go on this winning ways, also because we would manage to set a new record of points, apart from clinching the title. It won't be an easy game, both because Reggina will be desperate to avoid relegated and because we are chasing this record. We must also try to remain unbeaten in order to extend our positive series away. For this reason as well, Reggina-Milan will be a special game for us.'

guys, I thought u forgot making this thread after clinching scudetto 17! lol. i:..finally it was Andre who woke up ....

we have to win to keep our super record in away games. Sheva must score a double to get at least his normal 24 goals per season.
