the state of Serie A is IMO very deceiving and our real test will be Roma. Roma were great agaisnt City in the UCL, id like to see Roma's too Bayern games to give them a reference point. Roma were robbes v Juve, but hey ho, this is Italy!

I still think we should revert to Menez as a false 9 with SES and Honda flanking, that gives us work ethic on the wings for the defensive phase, and movement across the front 3

10 years ago honda en menez would be our subs, but then again they would have faced cannavaro, zanetti, cordoba, chivu etc..

time changes and i agree with drew this year more then ever i feel that the serie A has lost a lot of quality. only Roma and Juve can keep up with Europe

anyway very much needed victory for inzaghi! it's would not be fair to expect briljant field play but he has to achieve some consistancy in our results

We did pretty well, drew. I know what you mean... but give the boys a little credit. Except for the Muntari blunder, we were in control and had plenty of other chances. Bonaventura missed two sitters. What worries me is that Menez was involved in 90% of our dangerous attacks... He himself had 6 shots... If his injury keeps him out now we will be without him and DeJong... And I dunno what will we do... Torres was invisible and Muntari is Muntari... Good to see Abate at his best and hopefully we will see Alex-Rami from now on...it does not mean Silvio is any less of s cunt

Abate plays well only until he gets contract extension. same was the case 2010 when he needed a renewal and got it. afterwards nothing came from him. menez turned to be the signing of the season, yet we are dependant on him. we have no plan B. thats worrying, beside that i hope that inzaghi uses well the int. break to sort out the defense and work on inactive balls. Toni will give hard times to our CB's, Hallfredson is a good crosser, that is the main danger coming from Hellas.
