    Duck Goodbye Stroppa

    ===

Milan sacked (apparently) Giovanni Stroppa as coach of the primavera
i say sacked because he had 1 year more contract and there is no mention on anything else (leaves for a club or such...)
+ his results considering the investments werent really at the same level

i guess it was a good decision.

I kind of follow primavera and was always lead to believe that he did well. Many promising names are coming from this primavera!

    Fosatti
    De Vito
    Albertazzi
    Verdi
    Ganz
    Beretta

would be awesome if they could all become first team regulars soon!

Our primavera play at a low level and that is why they never seem to turn out like they promise. We need the primavera to play in Serie B so they can get some proper experience.

But that only happens in Spain. Utd's reserves play at a low level yet they allow promising players the chance to shine. Some make it some don't

My point is that youngsters at Man U get given the chance. Even players like Chadwick and Greening (who ended up at small clubs) were given the chance to develop alongside great players at EPL level. Some make it some don't, for every Chadwick, Greening and Eagles there is a Fletcher, Rafael, Scholes and Beckham. The point is they are given the chance

i think Stroppa hadnt had anything extra-special quality
he can keep the boat but he cannot make pro-moves with it

Milan spent a lot, and couldnt arrive in the top 4 teams of italy for 2-3 years in a row,
Roma pretty humiliated us (1-0 but 2 posts, other chances, game control)

Varese humiliated Juventus 5-1 and if i am not wrong now they are in final
i guess their coach have got less financial resources

imho Stroppa not having ANY KIND OF COACHING PAST, should have been 4-5 years OR in younger teams (kids) or in 4th 3rd division at least as an assistant
    and then, come to Primavera

ofcourse there are examples of coaches who never coached and make bingo, but that is a rarity, the normality is that you must learn, grow, change mistakes.

if a couple of names came up to us, it was just because milan paid good money for them a long time ago
