It's because Inter has clutch players like Eto'o, Sneijder and Cambiasso who will deliver as the pressure rises rather than the likes ZI, Pato & Robinho who will vanish as the pressure rises. Pandev is their Jon Dahl Tomasson IMO or if you look at it nowadays .... their Inzaghi who scores key goals even when playing average.

Inter couldn't score in the first leg but they scored 3 in the second leg away from home. A team that can't score in both legs will simply not qualify. In the first leg we came close from a CB on set-pieces and in the second leg we could barely put a shot on target despite bossing that game. That is a very clear indication that everything Milan was doing was absolutely fine till the final third where we were lacking greatly and the finger points to Robinho, ZI and Pato. Change those players with an Eto'o and Sneijder and I am sure we could have scored at least 2 vs. Slurs.

That's the difference between both sides right now.

yeah it is actually fantastic news Inter goes on in Europe, otherwise we would loose scudetto for sure. CL probably will cost them some points.

Let's be serious now, do you not agree that in the first half Bayern totally dominated and probably deserved to be at least 3-1 up? The way I saw it was that both teams couldn't defend for toffee. I think we could have beaten them last night the way they were giving space away! I hope merda face spurs again and spurs play their anti-football - let's see the tactical mastermind leo then!

But, like you say, them winning could be beneficial for us so it's not all bad.
