    one eye to the past

when we started the Ancelotti era our trio was :

RUI COSTA - SHEVCHENKO - INZAGHI

    today

    RONALDINHO - PATO - HUNTELAAR

(dinho and rui costa same age, pato and huntelaar younger than sheva and pippo when they joined)

rui was a big disappointment for the money spent
dinho is more disliked than beloved (so something in common)

    what about the rest, well

Mau, can you do a comparison between the midfield of when ancelotti took over, compared to the one we have now

maybe Thiago Silva if he's any good for Nesta or Maldini

    Cafu is unmatchable
Dida came back (or was finally signed) after years of loan and never convincing

Serginho came late on the left defensive side, he was before considered too weak in defence

    but yes

    Pirlo Gattuso Seedorf
    7/8 years later

maybe Flamini is new fresh air.

Klaas Jan Huntelaar Will Sign For Milan Tonight - Adriano Galliani
The Dutchman's move will become official this evening after he passes his medical...

Milan general manager Adriano Galliani has confirmed that the Rossoneri have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Klaas Jan Huntelaar, and that the Dutchman will arrive at San Siro tonight where he will then undergo a medical before signing his official contract.

The Italian giants have been chasing a striker all summer, and owner Silvio Berlusconi yesterday announced that the club would sign a top class hitman.

Reports then broke in the evening in the Italian media that Milan had signed Huntelaar for € 15 million, and Galliani has now confirmed that the 25-year-old is almost a Rossoneri player.

“With Real Madrid there is already an agreement on everything," Galliani told Sky Sport 24.

"It is not true that there is still no fax from Madrid, the agreement has been finalized.

“Huntelaar will arrive in Milan this evening, then we will perform his medical and he will sign the contract.”

Milan fans will be hoping that Huntelaar's medical passes without any hiccups, following the collapse of Aly Cissokho's move from Porto earlier this summer.

Huntelaar is a great signing. Now, if somehow we can signs Hernanez and DeSilvestre, things wont have been so bad afterall...
