I'm afraid that our recent positive run will close the managements eyes for the market. Maybe its good if we loose some more games this season. wich is possible as we still have to play against 3 difficult teams.

Well, I already think that our recent good run has done its damage and the fools already think that this Milan would have won the Scudetto if not for the injuries. We already believe that the difference between us and Inter is 1 point no thanks to the Adriano handball and we already believe that if Nesta, Borriello and Gattuso were available along with Kaka being present for more games, we would have strolled to the Scudetto.

A weak Scudetto it is I might add seeing that Serie A is a pretty weak and crappy league right now with Roma and Lazio out of the top four, Juve that is struggling and Milan that needs serious clear-out and rebuilding.

Our TRUE ANALYSIS will be how well we do in Europe next season so whatever team we build in the Summer will actually tell (INJURIES IS NOT AN EXCUSE) how good we are in the UCL. If we don't perform well, then we will know what areas to fix.

I don't think winning this Scudetto is a big achievement. It's not competitive at all so our true worth will come when we come up against Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Bayern, Lyon, Arsenal and Real in the UCL.

Locally, next season I expect a stronger Juve and a more balanced Inter side but our true measure will be in Europe. That will tell us where our strengths lie and what are the areas to improve.

In this weak Serie A for us to finish 2nd to Inter and remain within 5 points is not something excellent but for this unbalanced and lost for identity Milan it is OK and something realistic considering how piss poor we were for over half a season.

I think the biggest disappointment to me last night was our total lack of ambition. With Inter draw Carlo still optioned for a 1 striker line up. He had nothing to loose!!!!!! Even with a loss we still would end up in the top 3 IMO, and easily. Instead he is satisfied with a draw, and one point at home against out of form Juve!!! PATHETIC!!!(Can someone please remind me when was the last time we won against them? 4 years ago?) How can a coach after the game come out and say scudetto was lost months ago so this is a good result for us??!! Was that his prep talk prior to the game? Did he say to our players not to worry about scudetto, since it is lost anyways, and just go out there and have fun, and not loose? CARLO MUST GO!!!!!!!!!

I agree with Haroon. Our management truly believes that it was the injuries that somehow prevented us from winning scudetto this season. It was Calciopoli 3 years ago, WC 2 years ago, and as far as I remember injuries two seasons ago.

Instead of true changes we are happy with temporary fixes, like Ronaldo, Senderos, Flamini playing as RB, Favalli being a starter, Dida the back up, pushing Maldini to play until he is 65, bringing in Sheva, Neverson…..

I also believe that they truly think we are a bunch of morons, who know nothing about football. I already see this campaign unfolding from or management and their cronies, vide last interview from Baresi, and players, vide last interview from Maldini, in which they try to convince us this Milan side does not need changes but few minor adjustments…….. What a joke!!!

On a side note. Serie A really needs to address the issue of refs. I do not say he cost us 3 points last night, but total lack of consistency in his decisions was scary. To put it bluntly the ref was pathetic!!!

The referee issue will always be there. It was a part of football, it is a part of football and it will continue to be a part of football. What everybody needs to be careful about is to avoid refereeing such as the one done in the Dirty World Cup 2002 in the Italia and Espana games especially. Italia got robbed multiple times in that World Cup so I like to call it specific targeting.

On the club side, we need to avoid refereeing like the one done by Ovrebo in the Chelsea targeting.

Other refereeing errors post Calciopoli are and should be acceptable as a NATURAL part of a game. In some games the calls will go for us and in some the calls will go against us. It depends on the timing whether the calls can become really costly but the above TARGETING scenarios are dangerous and need to be removed from football.


On the game side ... it did seem like a relaxed performance especially after the 75 min mark as both teams seemed to want to go home with 1 point as a SAFETY NET rather than RISK the win. The ironic thing is obviously nothing was at stake for either side and yet this approach seemed a bit relaxing and disturbing.

It does bother me immensely when I read that this team needs minor changes to get back on top. Minor changes like Gerrard, Buffon, Puyol and Torres coming in? They are 4 signings after all. Minor in number right?

Or are we talking about Peruzzi, Panucci, Gourcuff and Adebayawn? Just for the record, I've mentioned Gourcuff's name as he may come back --- not that he belongs in the list in the overall context of my example.

So, what are the MINOR changes required to get us back on top? Are we to be fooled once again by the thought that Adebayawn is a WORLD CLASS signing in the eyes of the blind bats running the show while the whole world thinks otherwise or are we to read that Shitchoker's arrival means that we have added another Ballon d'Or winner to our ranks?

WHAT ARE THE MINOR CHANGES? Maldini believes in us keeping Favalli for another season to nurture Silva. What exactly has Favalli done and how exactly will a former NAZIO reject help us when we have Lazio's greatest with us who can do equally well in helping our young defenders even by giving them tips on tackling and positioning. This doesn't need Nesta to be fit by the way.

It's no surprise that over 50% of Milan fans worldwide would undoubtedly think that if this management got 100 million EUR it would waste it rather than utilize it.

It is the primary reason why I feel that it is more important to sell the excess baggage than who we get. My focus and attention for now is mainly on who we are selling because I see that as a STEP FORWARD rather than trying to keep that lot which is a STEP BACKWARD because most of that bunch is either past it or not hungry enough any longer.

We were well out of the scudetto before the injuries. I'm not sure anyone at Milan really believes the injuries are to blame - sounds more like an excuse for the media..
