Man why are you so pessimistic?

Even if we have been playing bad, we have been winning.

We have all the chance in the world to beat Roma and Juve, and even if I'm less optimistic about Fiorentina and Udinese, the last times we visited there we didn't lose.

Well, I think it is imperative for a strong Milan and Juve in Europe to salvage Serie A. Inter with everything they have still fall short because of the load of crap they are stuck with. I don't know if they can fix it next Summer but it is not easy to remove that from the Inter set-up right now IMO.

As for Roma, Fiorentina or Genoa etc. All these teams are poop in the UCL. They just get in the competition to make the numbers. They are utter tosh. Therefore, it is highly important for a strong Northern Italia representation in Europe. Whenever the North sucks in Europe, Serie A has a poor showing in Europe.

Playing bad and winning is good as the team knows how to extract points in bad situations. The flip side is that this trend can't last for long so at some point you have to play well to win. Seeing that the games in May will be tougher than the ones we have right now, we can't sit on it that we can win those games as the team as a whole is not showing form. It is the individuals saving us and dragging the rest of the team with them. It is working for now but it can't last forever. I guess that is the only reservation right now.

We should beat Roma. Juve will be tough. Fiorentina and Udinese will be tricky encounters. It won't be easy to get 12 points here. 8 points would be nice while 5 points from these games will be bad IMO.

this is my prediction of the worst case scenario that can the end of this season (and i hope to god that it DOESN'T happen):

    - milan finish 2nd place and carlo extends his contract until 2015

    - because of the financial crisis and the rift after the shitty debacle in january kaka will get sold to real madrid

    - seedorf, max, and favali will also get contract extentions

    - shevchenko will return to chelsea (for his family's sake)

    - pippo will get injured and come back in february to save milan's season

I don't think I've ever read a more negative post in my life.

Well here's my take on the above:

    - Milan can finish in second but we will have to improve our game in the final run. Ancelotti will not get an extension regardless until the start of the next season and Milan's performance. If Milan has a rocky start next season, Carlo will leave/get fired within the first couple of months and Rijkaard will come in instantly. For that reason, Carlo will probably call it a day and leave in the Summer for Chelsea. I just get the feeling that Milan wants to give Carlo a shot and see how Milan does next season especially in the UCL just for old time's sake.

    - I am sure Kaka doesn't want to leave and a very resounding majority don't want him to leave but I am not sure whether the sentiments at Milan are the same. At least Marca and AS have shut up after Kaka said Milan for Life!

    - Seedorf, Favalli and Ambro will probably not get extensions but they may well stay for the entire tenure of their contracts which is bad.

    - Shevchoker should return to Chelsea. Nothing would make me happier than reading this. Milan was dreaming of polishing a turd but that is impossible.

    - Pippo will get injured with regularity. He doesn't have the body or the legs nowadays. All he can do is come on as a sub for a few minutes. He is not a season player but a bit part player and a very expensive one at that.
