Default 1994 in Athens AC Milan - Barcelona

I remember it like yesterday.. Especially the Savicevic goal... What a wonderful performance (and the rest of the team)!

Dejan's goal was pure class. i still remember Zubizaretta's goal and his face expression. we were playing some good soccer that time, we had a balanced team, with strong, fast and creative midfielders in Desailly, Donadoni, Savicevic, ,... eh, good old times.

The funny thing is that it wasn't a question of who would win, but with how much barca would win.. i'm glad it didn't go that way

FORZA MILAN, FORZA DEJAN "IL GENIO" SAVICEVIC!!

i quote from world soccer magazine

" Milan were a machine, and there was nothing Barcelona could do but wait to be run over!"

lets not forget the massaro Double and Desailly's sublime finish. Everytime I see Cruyff's face anywhere these days it just brings back memories to me of that night, I guess he shouldn't have been standing so close to the Volcano when it exploded....lol

Capello being swamped by staff all while having his hands in his pockets is also forever etched in my memory.

My favourite game of all time because 1. I was at school at the time (just about to sit my GCSEs), 2. We were massive underdogs, 3. We utterly destroyed them

Haha, similar here Dario, all my school mates who i got loads of stick off for supporting Milan were gloating to me weeks brfore that with no Baresi or Costacurta we had no chance, then we totally owned them.

And Cruyffs face as Desailly scored was a picture, taling to his number 2 and trying to look nonchalant

People also forget that Panucci had a perfectly good header disallowed, and Savicevic hit the post just before Desailly scored.

    It could/should have been 5!
