Ricky and Pippo should have made more of that situation then!

Half time and job half done, an early goal in the second half should hopefully kill any hopes Bayern have.

But we do, we should have had the game sewn up in the first leg. Bayern are loking rattled now another early goal for us and its a guaranteed next round IMO.

The most important factor now is that carlo keeps the players on the ground and realise it's only the first half - celebrations are for the final whistle

...and an early goal by Bayern in the second half could start suffocating Milan's hopes of progressing.

What a fabulous last 25 minutes that was. Bayern withered away into nothingness after that first goal and they've looked a timid, dejected force since. Hopefully, we can continue to exploit the gaps as they look for goals.

And lets hope that we deal with Pizarro a little better this time when he, in all probability, emerges for the 2nd half.

With Depor and Istanbul still fresh in the memory, I'm loathe to be too confident. It'll be a huge test of character for the players.
