The reason about this topic..

The reason about this topic is to bring devilsmania to the next level.

What i mean is that i would like to add features, options, utils or whatever you may think of that would be usefull for everybody.

The whole idea is to keep it as much close to the forums but i dont really mind if we dont fully integrade it.


Some things that come to mind are:

1. A proper 'news' website that premium/members are allowed to post news or whatever on.

2. Video/images archive. (this option is already inside the forum but its kinda boring/empty right now). I would really think we should give it more content and maybe open it to the world.

3. Extra services like email or web(blog?)space for the members.




- Remember that its _NOT_ my idea to change DM in ANY way ! This means it will never ever change about its content and that's Milan/Soccer/Sport in a great enviorment with great people !

Ok since this topic is back..

Last year I suggested lots of things and discussed it with Mau, he wasn't really ready back then for one reason or another..

Now here's what I suggest, any costs shall be no problem, DM is my home.. And I'm sure lots of guys will also be there if anything is required.

Ideas:

1- Newspaper section:
Gazzetta Renewal is to be done at these minutes while posting. Mau and Mix are doing it as my Italian sucks
If anyone wants more newspapers to be added (Corriere D Sport), I personaly don't mind at all..

2- Improving of Video section:
Suggesting to have all Milan goals on, if there's need to buy any equipment for the member who is ready to do that, myself and yourmood are ready to help.
Also, I can start again to post various videos like before, for different players and clubs.

3- Automated Prediction League:
Mau and Arc done it nicely, prizes to be added to make it even more fun.

4- Chat area:
At the moment, there's no chat..

5- SMS Service:
Only DM members to use and if possible, SMS to be sent between members, I mean like.. Arc sends to Mau, Mix sends to Yasser.. etc

6- BEING OFFICIAL AC MILAN FAN CLUB ONLINE:
This is an idea I really want it to happen, whatever it takes or how much it costs, this will take DM to another level..

7- Latest News:
That line or whatever it's called, the one upthere, with news.. If we can find one way so our news can be automatically linked to ACMilan.com news (Technically it's possible if servers can be connected, but pherhaps we need their approval?).. Or any other way.. Even if not with ACMilan.com, we can link up with any other good site to provide us with the news line and to be automated.. This will be also a classy addition to DM.

Would like to hear back from Mau and Arc on the points mentioned, specially point no. 6

Also, members are very much welcomed to give ideas..

Btw - Another thing in mind:

8- A Girlish section:
Pherhaps we don't have much girls, but I wonder if the girls we already have would like to have a sub forum of their own, we can get in some new girls for a new sub forum..

I guess, ladies in DM could talk more about this and weather they would need/like it or not..

1). All fine with me, and YES i know there should (and its coming) system for uploading/reading etc..

2). I should be able to hook up some automated video recording system via my personal dreambox (sat decoder). The only part is that i really dont give a damn about football (sorry really am ) so im NOT the right guy to do any editting

4). A real 'chat' could be nice but again i dont want to lose any functions about the forums over it. And with that i mean a chat isnt timeless if you leave the conversation is 'lost'. BUT i will still look at it

5). And with SMS you mean the Mobile SMS? I dont really see a problem since there are lots of providers that gives access to free sms services. i think SMS could/should be optional connected to the PM system inside the forum.

6). Im not sure how to get this kind of status because milan/acmilan could easly do this themselves. But still if anybody could give more info i would be happly to look into it.

7. I did some tests with RSS feeds and it works great, and its REALLY easy to integrade it into the forums or just random website/database.
