who can substitute him in this situation then?
My choice - Vogel. his presence on the pitch doesnt give us so many attaking options as Pirlos, but Vogel is a lesser liability in defense.
The other possibility of neutralising Pirlo is play Paolo as a left back, Sergio as a left wing, Seedorf - dm...

Vogel would afford everyone bar the CBs the licence to roam that they need, so he's absolutely essential, IMO, although Carlo doubtless disagrees.

It'll be interesting to see how long Sheva lasts as he looks to be suffering quite badly with the effects of tendonitis.

rather not see seedorf as a dm his defense qualities arent the one to be praisen!

let vogel play against van bommel, they played 6 years with each other and he knows him very well, i think he can take him out

A.C.Milan communicates that in the course of the Messina-Milan game, Massimo Ambrosini suffered a fibula fracture to his left leg although not the same injury as he suffered in September. Ambrosini will be sidelined for approximately a month.

this isn't helping ambro, too bad feel sorry for him!

That sux about Ambro, he could have been very usefull...poor guy can't get a break. (no pun intender, at all).
I can only imagine what could have been of his career without all those bad injuries.

Nesta is a serious doubt, he is a must for Milan...he's always played well against them. I think Pirlo is going to start, even though the wise thing to do would be to put Vogel in there, not much to choose from...this is where Galliani's transfer bs comes into effect.

Nesta is the major doubt. Gazzetta describe the chances for him to play as 55%.

how did one come up with that number (55%), I have no clue .
