Oddo was disastrous! Borriello was zero too it's hard to understand what a football player like him who has hilarios skills is doing in a team like Milan! I liked See too althogh his missed good chance free-kick. He had good passis and assist like balls!

After the 2 Emirates matches i think we have 2 good goalies in the goal we won't have problems.
If Silva returns we could have a solid defence with Sokratis, Nesta, Silva and Zambrotta but i wouldn't mind if we bought an LB. It'd be usefull!
The first problem comes on the midfield. The DM part is not good enough. Gattuso can't show his old days. He's slow, weak and althogh his heart is still there it's not enough on this level!
Flamini was a pleasent surprise in this tornament he had 2 good games. If he can play like this maybe he could be starter. Pirlo will return sooner or later and will be a starter but i think we still need a good DM.
Although See was good today the attacking part of our midfield is the weakest part of the team. Our attacks were colourless and far not effective enough! Dinho won't be enough to this part that's why for me an attacking midfielder sign is priority number one!
If we bring in a decent AM and Hunter returns maybe we won't need a striker becouse how i see Pato will be good and hopefully Hunter will start and not woodenleg Borri!

If i had to name a starting line up now it'd be:

Abbiati-Sokratis,Nesta,Silva,Zambrotta-Flamini,Pirlo-Seedorf-Pato,Huntelaar,Ronaldinho

I understand the Oddo extension - nobody wants to buy him this summer so we can only reduce his wages and hope someone takes him next summer. But it's clear he isn't interested in playing football anymore..

Thought we played OK today. Though we got worse when started taking off the young players and bringing on the older ones..

Didn't see today's game, but on yesterdays performance we have some good players, most notably flamini, antonini, and pato. Strasser looked good, but we must have more attacking options. Hernanes would be ideal, it's poor business NOT to buy him for 15m euros. He and or lazzari would sort our midfield

we don't have enough quality to compete, we will have moments this season but we won't win anything

Of course we won't win anything! That's not even up for discussion. We'll get knocked out of the Champions League early on and we won't be real competition for Inter in Serie A (again).

The question is whether we can finish in the top 4 of what is a pretty average European league.. Unless we see some new faces - unlikely - I think we'll probably just miss out.

Amazing how those players who weeks ago were saying we needed reinforcement, now say we are competitive

my point that we won't win anything is in retaliation to papi, gallliani and allegri saying we are inferior to noone.

Strasser might end up as a good defensive addiction to the midfield, Merkel as offensive. + if we get another midfielder like Allegri said.. and Flamini.

then i'm only worried about our attack.
(dzeko sigh)

IMO this team is like a one proud and mighty warship full of holes, held together by scotch tape, and no ready for any kind of serious battle

Here are my comments from what I saw yesterday

Amelia did good IMO he looked calm, he had a couple of very good saves and in general he was a positive surprise.

Oddo was without a doubt the worst player on the field and there really truly wasnt a single thing he did right, on top of that he looked extremely lazy, he took way too long to get back when he had gone forward. There were several times where Pato seemed very annoyed with him because of his crosses and general display. I wont even mention he goal, he just topped off an absolutly appaling performance by that. To see a professional football player fall flat on his ass as he tries to chase a man is simply embarrassing.

Papa looked good as a CB, he had a couple of good interventions and just the fact that he could actually run as fast as his opponents meant that our defence was more on their toes. His short hight was a problem in the air though and more than once he was beaten to balls there.

Bonera did well to partner him and overall our central defense duo looked better today (that could of course have something to do with the fact that they are both looked healthy and fresh).

Zambrotta ran a lot today and he should be praised for that, but like the other players of 30+ there were times where he really looked out of breath.

Seedorf is not a regista, and he will never ever be able to work in that role. I dont care who says otherwise. He needs to touch the ball so many times before he lets it go and waaaay too often the opposing team gets to close him down and he has to play it back. His strenght lies in his long passes, he is just too slow and too happy to dribble to play in the position.

Strasser was the only one of our young players who did well over these two matches. He wasnt spectacular by any means but he didnt fall flat either. He was okay and was rightly so the only one of our young players who got to play the whole match. I was surprised that he didnt go in to tackle more than he did.

Flamini was once again fantastic, he does so much that you dont get to see on tv. Just to watch how he runs his *** off throughout a match and still has energy to constantly direct the others is impressive, a real leader on the field

Merkel started well but fell out of the game as it progressed. He seems to be good in the air and made a nice assist to Verdi and was close to score with a header as well

Borriello was again nothing short of a huge dissappointment, he lost almost every ball that and then he just wandered around looking completly careless. And please dont mention the goal, at first he didnt know what to do with the ball, he didnt even try a shot but Lloris somehow deflected the ball to Verdi and still Borriello had a world of trouble to put it in the net.
Useless waste of space

Verdi was at times interesting, he seems active, often tries to provoke the opponents and got himself into good positions in front of goal. Looked helfless when he tried to go past players though.

Pato was good when he got the ball, always dangerous and daring in his runs, caused some problems for the defence and he NEEDS to be placed in the centre not on either of the wings

Novinic has a good first touch, a bit anonomous but was good to link up with the other players up front

Berretta didnt have a great match today, was mostly outmuscled by the defenders and didnt add much

Gattuso tried his best to clean up, but couldnt keep up with their fast players at times.

Yepes is a mistake at milan IMO after seeing him in these two matches, he is simply too slow, and I mean sloooow, he will cost us plenty of goals unless they are able to install a pair of extra legs on him

- i feel sorry for Allegri, there is very little to work on here, very few players actually worthy of this team, and the whole construction is just rotten, they dont run enough, they dont fight enough and the players needed simply doesnt exist in this team, not if you want to challenge for anything at least
