Totti:
'We've nothing to lose'
The pressure will be off second place AS Roma when they face leaders AC Milan in next weekend's title showdown at the San Siro stadium, according to captain Francesco Totti. "We'll go (to the San Siro) in the right frame of mind because we've got nothing to lose," Totti said on Monday.
The Italy international struck twice as Roma beat Empoli 3-0 on Sunday and closed in on Milan, who drew 0-0 against Udinese.
The results gave Roma 70 points, six behind Milan with three games remaining. Champions Juventus are third on 63 points.
"Second place is almost certain and the game in Milan will be our last chance (to challenge for the title)," Totti said.
"I've always believed we could win the title, even when it seemed beyond us. I'm appealing to all our fans to follow us to the San Siro."
To win on Sunday Roma must reverse a series of poor results against the division leaders.
Roma have been defeated by Milan three times this season -- once in the league and twice in the Italian Cup -- and will look to their captain to provide the inspiration to tear up the formbook.
Totti has been in superb form recently, scoring four goals in his last three games to take his tally in Serie A this season to 20.
But Roma coach Fabio Capello said his team would have a hard job clawing back the deficit.
"Six points is not a small difference, but we've already been complimented by (Milan vice-president Adriano) Galliani, in that Milan, although they have 76 points, cannot celebrate yet.
"Let's hope we can make them wait as long as possible."

GALLIANI: 'No fear'
26 April 2004 21:41
MILAN - Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani spoke to state television RAI Uno about the game against Roma and said: 'We are not afraid. We have great respect for our opponents that have played a great campaign. There are two different situations: if we win then we are champions. If Rome win then they are three points behind.' Regarding coach Carlo Ancelotti, Galliani declared: 'Ancelotti is the coach of the current European champions and in the same year won the Italian Cup and European Super Cup. I don't need to add anything else.'

MILAN - Gazzetta dello Sport has published an interview with Andriy Shevchenko who said: 'Europe is lost for this season but winning the league would be a magical end to the season. The draw in Udine was not a scandal. We know the title is difficult to win but we are still top of the league. We must not have any fear.'

MILAN - Speaking to Tuttosport, Andrea Pirlo said: 'Sunday's game is the big one for us and don't want to let it go. We got an important point against Udinese. We played okay against a good side. We are fine and feel fine. We want to close out the title soon.'
