Dont field Sheva, Kaka, Rui, Seedorf, Nesta, Maldini, Cafu, Dida, Rino, Pirlo, Pippo.. umm Max.. :D

I wonder, how will we find a starting 11 here ?

Boriello, JDT, Redondo, Brocchi, Simic, Laursen, Kaladze ?, Abbiati, under 21 players.. This should have been Rivaldo's match :pi:

This game could not mean any less for Milan...I would not play Kaka a single minute and save him for Sunday.

In Midfield I would go:

Abate-Brocchi-Redondo-Serginho.

Serginho but only fo a half. I would not even risk Ambro as Gattuso might not be 100% after the game with Empoli.

FORZA MILAN!!!

Nothing gives fans greater pride than to see youth players donning the clubs colours, so I`m sure no one would mind were Carlo to field an almost entirely alien XI. Personally, I hope each and every youngster named in the squad plays and I`m REALLY looking forward to seeing what our future stock can do ;)

Forza Milan :devil2: :kingnew:

We indeed have quality B team which is a worthy one to get results. Though some of them playing once or twice in a month then again i am confident that they could rock tonight, perhaps i am just expecting too much from the back ups ? Call me crazy...but i am indeed ;)

kaka and rui will play each ;)

abate IMO is a right midfielder!

KONDR

He can cover the whole wing. However he plays closer to defense, similar to Cafu.

i know its not the place to put a request but i know lot of people will read it here:-)
does anyone have the goal from Ludovic giuly against lens? my friend saw it on eurosport and he said it was awesome!

Goal Kaka...what a goal!!

Celta now tied...totally undesreved.

Ian
9th December 2003, 20:45
Agreed Super Rino:rolleyes: we should be winning 3-1 at least. Serghino's free kick was unlucky:angryfi: an inch orso lower and it was a goal.
IMO Brocchi and Seedorf are having really good games:D Brocchi might not be technically brilliant but his workrate is 100%.
Kaka's goal was real class:D yet again the genius scores a wonder goal:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D FORZA KAKA:angel: :D .
If Rui plays the 2nd half let's hope he can break his duck;) .
If our second string can control the game like this imagine what our first team would do-Sheva would have had a hattrick by now:D .
Anyway back to the second half for more Milan goals:D :D :D :D .

9th December 2003, 20:52
And prior to the match that miserable git Alan Smith was questioning Milan`s commitment! Hah! :ow: As you said, it`d be just desserts if we were a couple of goals in the clear as we`ve had sufficient chances :yeah:

JDT and Rui on. Hopefully, the third change will be that of a youngster :thumb:

Abate on for Billy ;)

2-1 Celta :( Wake up Simic.

Santi
9th December 2003, 21:22
I know this game doesn't mean anything...but HOLY CRAP!

what awfull defending... for a few minutes it looked almost embarrasing the way Celta kept creating chances.we must prey that Nesta isn't hurt too badly. wow!

GattusoKing
9th December 2003, 21:29
Hmmmm, its been a poor 2nd half no question and intent was revealed when Abate came on for Billy. It appears as though even the squad players minds are on Tokyo, despite the fact that they almost definitely wont figure.

Also, I think we now know why Redondo isnt fielded more often. I think its time he boarded the gravy train and called time on his career in Qatar.

GattusoKing
9th December 2003, 21:41
Oh well, 1-2 it finishes. Good 1st half, terrible 2nd half with not an ounce of pride shown. Meaningless but a tad disappointing. Now for Boca ;)

Qasá
9th December 2003, 21:42
To be honest mate, Redondo was pretty good in teh first half, just like most of the others his second half was very dire; but hey you can't really single him out now

GattusoKing
9th December 2003, 21:47
I just did :pi: IMO, he`s wasting his time at Milan and if he`s remaining at the club solely to play in a handful of meaningless matches per season, well, why?

Elchillum
9th December 2003, 21:52
first half was great! second awefull!

we deserved a draw IMO ... too bad my mates of bruges wont go to the next phase of CL

In all fairness there were a lot of players who were poor in the second half(Rui, JDT, Borriello etc). I just think that at half time CA probably told them just to hold the ball as there seemed no intent, IMO we missed Seedorf:eek: i thought he played excellently in the first half. Even Serghino didn't play well in the second half:( .
Anyway now for friday and see who we get in the draw;) .

Call Me 7 Cups

btw
LAZIO & AJAX eliminated also for Uefa Cup (Besiktas + Bruges)

Ajax Management might hate us a bit for future deals ;) eheheh

Santi
9th December 2003, 21:56
Redondo in the 1st half was ok, as was Serginho...I thought Borriello was a bright spot, he was dangerous and tried to do something, he had no support in the 2nd half.

I would have liked for som players to show more pride, after all they do want to win a place on the first team, I would hope.

Oh well, finally we can concentrate on the main goal. ;)

FORZA MILAN!!!

Perhaps they will, but who can blame us for putting out a second string with the game coming up on sunday?. Any team would have done the same, also i find it a discredit to the players when everyone says it's a fix, as these players are in the Milan squad and are eligable for every game:mad: .
Funny how the SKY commentators thought it was a good game in the second half:mad: :angryfi:  .

They would have had a case if they had actually won today ;) . Unless of course they really really wanted the UEFA cup.
Bruges might be pissed at us, but on the other hand, I don't think our future talents are found there..

10th December 2003, 01:29
Well IMO Ajax can get stuffed... all this talk about whether we would actually try seems to be irrelevant when they couldn't even win their own match!

I only saw the last 20 minutes of the game and what I saw was terrible. Especially our defence (Laursen, Simic....), also Serginho looked very bad and the couple Tomasson-Borriello wasn't even seen. The best players on the field in these minutes were Redondo, Rui, Brocchi and Abate. Rui tried to score, Redondo and Brocchi were on the way to give their contribution to the game, but there were too many player who really weren't on the field, so they couldn't do much.

But as I read from the first half, Seedorf and Kaka really impressed (Kaka great goal although I didn't see it) so I expect the midfield on Sunday with Gattuso, Pirlo, Seedorf and Kaka.

Elchillum
10th December 2003, 09:49
hey, what a great goal from kaka! he's so great :thumb:

borriello impressed me too ... a great first half!

serginho was great too! good crosses! hit the bar on a free kick! with a bit of luck we could have made 2-0 and celta would be out! and bruges could go through!

but this is typical! ... when milan has to win .... they win ... when it doesnt matter ... italian teams just loose ... it doesnt matter ... we win the group ... poor ajax lol ... bruges outplayed them ... i saw both games ...

cheers

Yesterday, in that first half i saw something that was incredible, a milan team that not only pinged the ball about with an air of arrogance, yet were highly efficient at getting chances too!

Usually we do just pass pass pass...ZZZzzzZZZzzz and that is it, however yesterday there was so much more penetration and a fluidity in the midfield that i just thought was great (1st half of course)

If that was because of the slight tactical change;l sobeit i wish we play a flat midfield again! yet if it was just because the personal were a bit more direct (no rui no pirlo) then i suppose there is something to work on...but i really wish that carlo does try something like that out again, it would be really good!
