Will our heroes forget about their awful Arezzo game in time?
Will our constant debating with Lazio about whether or not Oddo is worth that extra 1m succeed in messing with the eagles' heads?
Will our Serie A winning streak continue?

Find out in Sunday's episode of...

This will be a tough match, as it always is for Milan, when traveling to face either of the capital teams...Lazio always give Milan a run for the points. They will one of our toughest competitors for the 4th spot, so this game is a very important.

We have Kaka back for this game, and that is a huge boost for Milan, hopefully him and Gilardino will continue to click as well as they had lately...the defense will need to be sharp and play better then they did in the last game. Let's go Milan!

in the defense we have both Rino and Brocchi:D! good luck to pandev and rocchi, Lazio won't have Oddo, maybe u all know why + it's better for us, Lazio is much weaker when they are without Oddo.

Lines up for Milan: Dida; Cafú, Bonera, Maldini, Jankulovski; Seedorf, Rino, Pirlo, Brocchi; Kaká; Gilardino
4-4-1-1

Lines up for Lazio: Peruzzi; Behrami, Siviglia, Cribari, Zauri; Mundigayi, Ledesma, Mutarelli; Mauri; Roci, Pandev
4-3-1-2

Kick off at 20:30 :eateat: :pepsi: :cheer:

great i'm looking forward to this game, as mentioned before i also see this as a very important game! for several reasons, first of all it is a though game. secondly it is a direct 4th spot battle, third our streak must be bigger we must win we must show that we really are back.

very hard game for milan since Lazio and Catania are our rivals for 4th post and however Catania has a good record at their home while Lazio will fight until the end for the 4th post.maybe Fiorentina could be a danger as well.

we didnt solve our problems,Milan will play with 4-4-1-1 and however seems will be less goals, less positions for scoring,so i expect a 0-0 or 1-1 draw, otherwise Lazio's win by 1 goal.

it seems that Oddo dont play tonight so Lazio they have lost their best defender :D

Oficcial lines up, Milan will play 4-3-2-1, I have a bad feeling about this, I dislike the 4-3-2-1 formation

Dida is back....

Curious first half, very even indeed. We didn't create a whole heck of a lot, in fact it was Lazio who came closest but Dida pulled off an excellent save.

Kaka is having the poorest match I've seen from him in some time, and our overall attack is looking rather flimsy as a result.

GattusoKing
21st January 2007, 20:24
HT: 0-0. A poor performance with little quality, IMO, in spite of what the commentator may say. We clicked into gear a couple of times but it soon broke down and ultimately, we've yet to test Peruzzi.

Kaka, to me, doesn't look fit.

One word sums up that 0-0 draw: crap.

That performance was woefully inadequate.

Gutting.

GattusoKing
21st January 2007, 21:27
An improved 2nd half but we didn't commit anywhere near enough men going forward; typical Carlo.

Good performances from Pirlo, Marek and Bonera. Clarence and Kaka were poor, whilst Cafu's display shows just why we need Oddo. He was absolutely dire, IMO.

Oh, and Behrami's tackle on Gila was a disgrace, as was the referee's interpretation of it.

Damnn It!!! 0-0:( :(

Well I hope we will sign Oddo and Ronaldo tomorrow

Bonera was great..., he is improving every game, when he is central defender, we need Oddo, Cafu is only one RB in our team

i wont Ronaldo too... I think he can do win, with goal, in matches as was today..

Not a good game, pretty boring actually. Milan didn't create many dangerous chances.

Kaka looked very rusty, not near 100%...he will get back to his normal form soon though. Hope Gilardino is ok...that was a real bad challenge from Behrami, by look he didn't break his leg or tear a ligament.

Milan could have played better...but still in good shape to reach our goal this season.

FORZA MILAN!!!!!

dammed this was really an awfull game... really i see you people rating our players but i don't say they where all bad or something but the whole package wasn't working. This was a very bad evening i feel like we didn't even try to win..

only dida stood out, a little bit he did had some good saves. and that fokking behrami he should be punished for that, the were changed both at the same time and he didn't even looked at gila or apologied to him, disgrace to him...

I think this was an opportunity lost, but at the same time I can't argue that Milan was the better side. I think both teams deserve the draw, but I just wish we could've been more aggressive, especially in the last 20 mins. Again, Pippo (and Gourcuff) should've been in the game by the 70th minute mark to try to change the way the game was going. But, like Super Rino said, I'd take the 1 point, it's a positive thing and we're still on schedule to make the 4th place. Palermo seems to be struggling too at the moment, and hopefull they'll go into much deeper slump :D.

Further news on Gilardino is very much welcomed :).

and that fokking behrami he should be punished for that, the were changed both at the same time and he didn't even looked at gila or apologied to him, disgrace to him...

Agreed!! I can't stand that fvcker now, was pissed about him literally all day... no apology, no nothing, just that stupid@ss face he made like he didn't care at all. I can understand violent fouls committed out of rage or revenge-- they're not a positive thing, but I understand them-- but what the hell was that?! What was even the point? A totally needless attack (you can just trip him, idiot, you don't need to rake your studs down his leg and step on his ankle!) and completely blase attitude; now I can't stand that guy's face.

The only good part is that it looks like Gilardino's injury isn't nearly as bad as it might have been. That was seriously the kind of foul that could break a leg, but at least he seems able to walk on his own. I suspect it's "only" his ankle that's injured... apparently they'll run tests tomorrow; best of luck to him. FORZA GILA!

As for the rest of the game... no, not our best, but I don't think it was as horrible as most of you guys do. It certainly wasn't so bad as our most recent CL game anyway. Dida, Janku, Brocchi and Bonera were our best players IMO.

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP
1/23/2007 4:18:00 PM
Things turned out to be better than they looked at first for striker Alberto Gilardino and although he won’t be available for Roma he could be back in time to face former side Parma on Sunday

Alberto Gilardino was smiling as he sat down for his interview today on Milan Channel. After the nasty challenge with Behrami during Lazio-Milan, the fans feared the worst for the striker but this time Gila was lucky indeed: ‘It turned out better than was thought at the start, in the end I would even venture to say that it turned out ok. I took a bad hit, but these kind of things happen in football. I don’t think I’ll recover in time for Thursday’s game against Roma, it is more likely that I will return in time for Parma. We’ll see what happens. We will decide along with the doctors and physical therapists that are evaluating me.’

Adding insult to injury, the referee called the foul on Gila instead of against him, but the striker isn’t worried about that: ‘I stay out of controversies like this. I will only say that there was a foul committed on me and at least a yellow card should have been shown. However, the important thing is that I didn’t get seriously hurt.’

Even though he won’t be there against Roma, Gilardino has his thoughts on the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-final: ‘Even if Roma are a little beat-up they remain a great team. They have a very organized style of play. Francesco Totti is always ready to score and help his teams. Both he and Mancini are two extraordinary players. Roma will certainly come to Milan to try and win.’

Gilardino then spoke about his former team and Milan’s next opponent Parma, who just signed new player Giuseppe Rossi: ‘He is an interesting young player. He did really well with Manchester and now he has this chance in Italy. As far as Parma goes, I already scored against my former team last year at the San Siro and I hope to do so again this time as well.’

Gila’s final thoughts were for fellow team-mate in attack Pippo Inzaghi: ‘Pippo and I have played together before. We have different characteristics and things went well when we played together. We played more than 70 minutes together against Reggina and we were winning 2-0. We give Ancelotti an extra option.’

Also, in another article there it said that Gilardino trained with the rest of the team for their entire training session. FORZA GILA!!
